WEBSITES + MERCH STORES FOR MUSICIANS

Make More From Your Music Than From Your Job.

You don't need a record deal or a viral TikTok to get paid for your music. You just need the right setup.

Professional websites and online merch stores for bands and independent artists who are ready to take their music full-time.

TRANSMISSION*** ––––––––––––––––––––––– TRANSMISSION*** The math on streaming was never meant to sustain you. A million monthly listens clears less than a bartender working a Friday shift. That leaves you with four-tenths of a cent per stream, a playlist slot that expires in six weeks, and a platform that can restructure its payout model overnight while you're on tour. Sick. The old answer was a label advance, but that's long gone. The new answer everyone hands you is just focus on the music, stay creative, don't think about the business side. But the business side is where the rent gets paid, and the actual revenue for an independent artist has never been in streaming. It's in the shirt someone grabs after the set, the vinyl they order at 1am, the patch on a jacket three years later. That transaction needs a home; a store that feels like the band sounds, a website that carries the weight of the project. Musicians shouldn't have to become web developers and shipping coordinators to sell their own art. They should get to stay artists and have someone build the ground underneath them. That's what we do.       The math on streaming was never meant to sustain you. A million monthly listens clears less than a bartender working a Friday shift. WE DISCOVERED THE Missing Piece

TURN YOUR MUSIC INTO A CAREER THAT SUSTAINS YOU

Psst. You’re already closer than you think.

Right now, independent musicians are making a full-time living without a record deal or viral streams. They're doing it by building a tight-knit audience and an online system that gives those fans multiple ways to support them.

When you have one dedicated hub to send listeners to (and no, we're not talking Linktree, which charges a similar monthly fee to website hosting but has way fewer features), you capitalize on your social media traffic. You give them one place with multiple options: buying merch, grabbing tickets, accessing exclusive content, and more.

If you've ever wondered how someone with a fraction of your streams seems to be making more off their music, this is exactly how.

BIG-TIME, ON AUTOPILOT

24/7 TEAM + MERCH MANAGER

Go track down the van keys, we have growth for the next few months already handled.

You have a website, a merch store, you're building your email list. Cool, so now what? Now is where it gets fun, because the foundation is set. If you want to keep growing your audience, selling merch, and filling shows, we'll keep working with you, helping you stay in front of your fans, promote new releases and merch drops, and keep building momentum.

What Could new listeners, fans, show promoters, and merch buyers coming to your website 24/7 do for your music career?

YEARS IN THE MAKING

BEFORE HEADFIRST, I SOLD SHIRTS OUT OF THE VAN.

HOW I SEE IT

I first picked up a guitar at 9, then spent my 20s playing in bands while going to school for graphic design, learning website design & Shopify, working in marketing, and building a couple businesses of my own.

I know the reality. Show payouts don't go very far when you have 5 members in the band and you drove 2 hours to get there. And that whole "get paid from your music" concept we grew up with? With streaming, it felt like getting paid directly from your music was made impossible in an instant.

But I was also seeing the other side.

Working in marketing & social media, I saw how lucrative building an audience could be, and that's essentially just what music is. The best individuals, influencers, and brands create and captivate an audience, then capitalize on it through a website or webstore. The internet made making money directly from music borderline impossible, but it also made merch sales easy. Now you can sell anytime, anywhere, but a lot of bands still don't know about this, or how to set it up themselves.

So I decided to do some testing.

CASE STUDY:

THE BAND: The last band I was in. We took it seriously, but it was also a midwest emo band and we messed around the whole time. In it for fun and both having full-time jobs, we weren't concerned about the money.

THE PROBLEM: We kept getting asked for shirts, kept running out, kept having to run to the post office to send them out.

THE FIX: I decided to put my marketing knowledge to the test and built a website with an online merch store, set up with fulfillment. Someone orders a shirt, a print shop gets the request, prints, then ships, complete with customized packaging and inserts we set up.

THE PAYOFF: No more post office runs, no more running out. And because we had some money from online sales, we were able to go a little wilder on custom show merch.

TLDR: In today’s world, music, albums and streams don’t pay like they used to.

We found out how to make that work to your advantage.

Whether you need a professional website, an online merch store, or the whole thing, tell us where you're at. We'll figure out the next best steps together.

HAVE A QUESTION?

Do musicians really need a website?

If you want your music to pay like a business, yes. Socials are rented land. The algorithm picks who sees you, and streaming pays four-tenths of a cent a play. A website is the one place you own: it sells merch, captures emails, books shows, and ranks on Google while you sleep. Your music already gets people to care, the website is where that care turns into rent money.

Is a Linktree enough for my band?

It's a hallway, not a venue. Linktree charges a monthly fee close to real hosting, then sends your fans to other people's platforms with their rules, their cuts, their data. A band website keeps every sale, every signup, and every listener on your turf. And it ranks on Google. Meaning, you get found for free on Google, by fans already looking for music just like yours.

What should a band website include?

At the bare minimum? Information about the band or musician, links to their socials, and any upcoming shows. Ideally? All of the above, plus, a full merch store so you can start making money, an automated booking form so you can receive show requests in one easy place, 24/7, an email/SMS signup, and SEO copy so new listeners find you for free.

What if my band doesn't have an audience yet?

Then you're early, and that can work to your advantage. You don't need a million streams, you need a hundred real fans with one place to go. The site is built to rank on Google and convert whoever you already reach, however small. The artists out-earning you on a fraction of your streams aren't more talented. They just have the right setup in place.

Can you build an online merch store for my band?

Absolutely. Full store stores of any size, multiple products, plus optional fulfillment wired in. How far do you want to take it?

Can a website actually help my band get booked?

Yes. When your music, merch, and contact info all live in one professional place, complete with a booking form that works while you're asleep, you stop chasing shows and start receiving them. Think of it as a 24/7 promoter that never takes a 20% cut.

Also, you know that EPK you have to track down every time? Yeah, thats no more. Instead, you now have a link you can easily access, and send to promoters in seconds. Better yet, we can build an automation that, after someone fills out the booking form, leads them right to the EPK page, delivering more value than the promoter asked for, seconds after meeting.

How long does it take to build a musician website?

Most builds go live in 2–4 weeks. Custom work moves at custom speed. Either way, you get a straight timeline before we start.

How much does a website for a band cost?

Less than one good merch table night. Website only can start as low as $500 depending on your needs. Talk to us, we'll work something out.
